The Choctaw Lady Yellowjackets were coming into the championship of the Washington Tournament on a hot streak outscoring their openings in pool play and bracket play by a combined 98 runs leading up to the finals, The Lady Jackets also went undefeated in pool play at the Purcell subsite on day one. The Moore Lady Lions despite dropping a game would finish first in their pool on tiebreaker in pool play at the Washington Little League field subsite
The Lady Lions would strike first in the top of the first with an RBI double from Karlie Curtis to score in two runs and despite Ryann Phillips grounding out on fielders choice, They would get one run out of it before a pop out brought up third out. Bottom of the inning, The Lady Jackets would get on the board with a two run home run from Kaydrian Fields and tie it up with a walk on loaded bases but two consecutive outs would bring the inning to a close. Top of second the Lady Lions would get a runner on base with a walk but three consecutive outs and good defense by the Lady Jackets brought the top to a close, Bottom of the inning the Lady Jackets got the bats going again with a two run home run from Payton Carillo and a solo home run from Missy Henderson along with an RBI single from Bre Curry to take a four run lead going into the third. The Lady Lions would answer back with an RBI double from Ryann Phillips but an out at home would bring up third out on the next play, Bottom of the inning the Lady Lions defense would come up big holding the Lady Jackets scoreless. The fourth inning overall would be defense highlighted by a fielders choice double play in the top of the inning. Top of the fifth the Lady Lions would tie it up with a two run home run from Makiah Brumbelow-Neal but two consecutive outs brought the top to a close, Despite two consecutive fly outs the Lady Jackets regained the lead with two runs lead by a double by Harper Grice. Top of the sixth the Lady Jackets defense would come up big to get three consecutive outs and then add two more home runs from Kyndal Haithcock and Payton Carillo to take a four run lead once more. The top of the seventh the Lady Lions would manage to get runners in scoring position but the Lady Jackets defense would hang on and get the win 11-7 and win the championship.
Saige Bacon lead the Lady Jackets at the plate going 3-3 at the plate while Ryann Phillips went 2-4 to lead the Lady Lions at the plate. Hadley Southerland lead the Lady Lions with the most hits having three in four at bats while multiple Lady Jackets had multiple hits.

Kyndal Haithcock would be named tournament MVP while Payton Carillo was named the tournament home run queen.
The Lady Jackets are back in action on Monday at home against Washington while the Lady Lions travel to Newcastle for a doubleheader with Elgin and Newcastle.
