The Washington Warriors hit the road to Frederick for a doubleheader in 3A-2 district play and was looking to keep pace in the district standings while the Frederick Bombers was looking to break a two game losing skid.
The first game seen an offensive explosion at the plate for the Warriors as they would put up 25 runs in the top of the first inning off a solo home run from Kade Norman, A three run home run from University of Houston signee Dax McCaskill and RBI singles from multiple Warriors including an RBI double from Koen Scarborough, Mayson Thomas and Owen Andrews plus an RBI triple from Easton Berglan. Second inning the Warriors added a couple more runs on RBI doubles from Tristan Babbitt and Kinser Scott. The Bombers lone run came on an RBI double from Nixon Williams who lead the team at the plate going 1-2. The Warriors won the first one 31-1 after three innings.
The second game the Warriors got off to a similar start rattling off 14 runs in the bottom of the first after a good defensive start in the top of the first behind three run home runa from Marlon Moore and Dax McCaskill, RBI doubles from Owen Andrews and Mayson Thomas and RBI singles from Koen Scarborough and Andrews. The Warriors would get the shutout in this game with Kade Norman starting on the mound before Johnny Montoya came in as a closer en route to a 17-0 win and a sweep in district play.

The Warriors will be back in action next week at the Gulf Shores Classic in Alabama, Next district action will be the Monday after spring break in a doubleheader at Marietta.
