Thomason heading to Chattanooga after great tenure at Amber-Pocasset

Pictured above is Bo Thomason during a state semifinal game against Dale

After a nine year tenure with the Amber-Pocasset Lady Panthers, Bo Thomason is taking the job at Chattanooga. In his nine seasons at Amber-Pocasset he would have a combined record of 180-81 and in 2019-20 he lead the Lady Panthers to their first state tournament since 2020 before the tournament got canceled that season, He lead them to state in 2021 and this last season as well. Thomason takes over a Chattanooga Lady Warriors team that went 18-10 and reached the regional consolation final and was young on paper. The Lady Warriors have not made state since 2015 and will look to make a deep run this season.

A few thoughts

As noted above Chattanooga will look to take the next step after making strides as an young team last season. Thomason turned the Lady Panthers around after a few down seasons and I look for him to do the same with this young Lady Warriors team. He is a heck of a coach and he always get the best out of his teams and I noticed that when I covered Amber-Pocasset at the State Tournament. The Lady Warriors got themselves a really good one.
