
The Washington Warriors was coming into the state championship looking to go back to back in baseball for the first time in school history while the Cascia Hall Commandos was looking to win their first title in school history, Both teams were coming off tight wins in the semifinals. The first inning would start off rough for the Warriors with two consecutive outs but Camden Bates would be the one to get it going with a single to get on base and then Kane Springer getting the RBI single to score Bates, Jake Wells would get two more on the board with an RBI single with Kade Norman getting an RBI single on next at bat. The Commandos would get on the board on a sacrifice out that gave Hunter Stockton a chance to score. Top of second, Camden Bates would get a triple and Dax McCaskill would get the RBI single for him to score, Bottom of second the Commandos once again answer the call this time on an RBI double from Hunter Stockton to score Chris Kutmas and Cooper Frazier. Top of third the Commandos defense would hold the Warriors steady as they go three up and three down, Bottom of the inning they would cut the deficit to one as Barrett Mullen would drill a line drive to left field for an RBI double to score Cooper Lai and Owen Pazzo but a strikeout on the next at bat would bring the inning to a close. Top of fourth the Warriors would score on a sacrifice out but it would be a double play at first and second, Next inning the Warriors would start to pull away again with RBI singles from Mayson Thomas and Marlon Moore, Bottom of the inning the Commandos would score a run from Cooper Lai but a double play brought the inning to a close. Bottom of the sixth Mason Shiflet would get an RBI single to Chris Kutmas. Seventh inning last chance for the Commados but Camden Bates came up big for the Warriors on defense striking out two consecutive batters to clinch the victory as the Warriors defeated Cascia Hall 10-7 en route to their second consecutive championship.
Kade Norman started the game for the Warriors and lasted one and two-thirds innings allowing three hits and three runs, Nate Roberts came in as relief and Camden Bates came in as a closer. Cooper Frazier started the game for the Commandos and lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing nine hits and ten runs while striking out four. Hunter Stockton threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Marlon Moore and Camden Bates each had two hits to lead the Warriors in hits. Hunter Stockton had four hits to lead the Commandos in hits.
