The Ft. Cobb Broxton Mustangs and Calumet Chieftains were both back in the championship for first time since 2019 and this would be a matchup of two powerhouses. The third quarter would be pretty even for the most part but the Mustangs would go on a run in the fourth quarter to ultimately seal it and win their first title since 2018. The Lady Bruins would get off to hot start in the first quarter and couldn’t miss a shot early on but in the second quarter came the 27-10 run from the Lady Cats. The second half would be a little more scoring wise but the Lady Cats would have the upper hand as they never looked back in the second half en route to their sixth title in the last eight seasons. This matchup is the definition of girls basketball powerhouses. The Lomega Lady Raiders and Hammon Lady Warriors have been in this game several times before. The first quarter would be a pretty even matchup but then a 17-3 run for the Lady Warriors in the second quarter would feature the offense on full display. Third quarter would be about the same, The Lady Warriors could not miss and throughout the tournament their three point shooting and low post presence was elite. The fourth quarter would be even for the most part but the Lady Warriors would prevail as they would go on to win the state championship for first time since 2018. Henley West and Maylee Chaney lead the way with scoring for the Lady Warriors with 21 points while for the Lady Raiders, Abby Swart would have 22 points and Darcy Roberts would have 18 points to lead scoring for the Lady Raiders.
