Porum Lady Panthers win fourth consecutive title in Graham-Dustin Tournament. Panthers clinch third

This matchup would be a rematch of the finals from the 2019-20 season when the Lady Panthers made their debut in the Chieftain Classic, They won the first meeting 43-29 and this matchup was looking like it was gonna be a good one. The Lady Vikings had a lot of speed and could shoot lights out and the Lady Panthers also had a lot of speed as well. The first half would be back and forth and the shots was falling for the Lady Vikings as they hit a couple deep threes. Third quarter the Lady Panthers would go on a run to take the biggest lead of the game at 13 going into the fourth but it would quickly turn into a track meet as the Lady Vikings would go on a run to bring it back to a single digit deficit but the Lady Panthers would answer back and a few clutch free throws late in the fourth would seal the win and their fourth consecutive title in this tournament. Kylie Smith lead all scoring for the Lady Panthers with 20 points, Courtney Pease with 14 points, Rilee Miller with 11 points, Adysen Dishman with 10 points, Leia Johnson with six points, Mesa Coluston with two points. Dishman, Pease and Miller was also named to the all tournament team. Emileigh Palmer lead all scoring for the Lady Vikings with 25 points, Alina Rangel with 16 points, Elle Odom with seven points, Allie Rangel with six points, Cednei Hulbutta with four points.

Porum 53 Saskawa 42

This matchup both teams was very similar, Both teams was extremely young and both had been on a losing streak prior to their first round games in tournament action. The first quarter the Panthers would jump out to a 16-0 run to start out and they got it going quickly, Second quarter however the Vikings went on a run of their own to answer back but would still be trailing 30-19 at the half. Third quarter would more or less be the same story as the Panthers offense would be clicking on all cylinders but the fourth quarter the Vikings would go on a run late to bring the game within striking distance but the Panthers would seal the game with a small run and a few free throws to clinch third place. Michael Wright lead all scoring for the Panthers with 24 points, Kyle Rock with 18 points, Rowdy Harris and Rylind Tillery both with four points, Isaiah Sallee and Cooper Franklin both with two points. Wright and Rock would be named to the all tournament team as well. Al Webb lead all scoring for the Vikings with 20 points, Shaun Franks with 15 points, Mason Palmer with four points, Waylon Phillips with two points, Seth Hellman with one.

The Panthers return to action on Tuesday at Keota at 6:30pm
