Class 2A is always an interesting class to see year in and year out, I can still remember a few years ago I heard a couple guys on a podcast say that 2A is usually one of the harder classes to predict in the playoffs and that it’s so wide open and I can see why they say that cause you look at the field for 2A every year and you never know who will come out of nowhere and make a deep run and I guess you can say that’s why we play the game. 2A-6 and 2A-2 look to be the toughest on paper so far, You look at 2A-6 and you have a couple different teams in Eufaula, Spiro and Idabel that have tradition as well a Hugo team that’s on the rise and trending in the right direction, add an Antlers team that’s been good the last couple years as well as a Valliant team that’s starting to head towards the right direction and you have what looks like a loaded field, 2A-2 was tough last year and looks to be the same this year, Despite Jones graduating a lot I expect to see them back in the mix, Bethel is a team look to take the next step this year, Crossings Christian brings back a few key pieces as well and I expect to see them in contention again, Chandler despite losing quite a bit should still be in contention with them returning a few key pieces on offense. 2A-3 I think Washington controls their own destiny but Community Christian will make things interesting, The third and fourth seed is pretty wide open, 2A-5 is in a similar boat but I believe the two seed will be wide open as well, Vian essentially controls their own destiny here. 2A-7 will be interesting how the fight for first goes, It’s likely between Beggs and Victory Christian once again, Like 2A-3 the third and fourth seeds are wide open, 2A-8 is in a similar boat as 2A-3 and 2A-7, Rejoice Christian and Pawhuska battle it out for the top spot while third and fourth seeds are wide open. 2A-1 outside of OK Christian School is wide open and as for 2A-4 I think that one is very wide open and pretty much anything goes there.
