OSSAA hires Lester as Assistant Director

The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association announced it’s next assistant director today. Brian Lester was announced as the new hire, He replaces David Glover who will become the Kingfisher athletics and operations director after nine years with the OSSAA. Lester was most recently the head girls basketball coach at Tuttle where he won a state championship in 2021 and has had stops at Putnam City West, Heritage Hall and Choctaw, He has served multiple roles as an administrator, teacher and coach in boys and girls basketball, volleyball, tennis and cross country.

“Brian’s experience and success a coach and athletic director will serve him well in his role as an Assistant Director for us. Just like Coach Glover, Brian brings instant credibility to the high school basketball community and his success has been well documented throughout his career. He’s an established leader of young men and women and strongly believes in the value of education-based activities. We are very fortunate to have Brian join our staff”. said the OSSAA in a statement release. Lester’s responsiblities will include providing leadership to and the coordination of the OSSAA Class 4A-B basketball, golf and other administrative duties.
