A few things to note on Class A this year. There will be a new champion in Class A this year as the defending State Champion Red Oak went up a class, Interesting enough only one host team won their Regional which was #2 Whitesboro but as I say anything goes in postseason. The Lady Bulldogs got to the championship last year but came up short in the finals and they will look to get it done this year and it would be their first State Championship ever in school history, Despite Roff missing the State Tournament last year they are back for the first time since 2013 and they will be looking for their first finals appearance since 2012, Like Whitesboro they will be battling for their first championship, Difference here is Roff has two finals appearances in 2012 and 2004 but got runner up both times. Caney is also fighting for their first championship, They have three previous runner up appearances in 2018, 2002 and 2001, Their last finals appearance was in 2018 . Arnett will be going for their first title since 2015 and first appearance since 2016.
